Snowman Sheet Cake: An Incredible Ultimate Recipe for Winter Celebrations

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • ½ cup unsweetened whipped cream (for decoration)
  • Candy pieces (for decoration: M&Ms, chocolate chips, etc.)
  • Black icing (for snowman eyes and buttons)
  • Orange candy (for the carrot nose)

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch sheet cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined and no lumps remain.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared sheet cake pan, spreading it evenly.
  6. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for about 30 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar and whipped cream until you achieve a fluffy frosting consistency.
  9. Once the cake is completely cooled, spread the whipped frosting evenly over the top.
  10. Use candy pieces to design the snowman’s face and buttons. Create the eyes and buttons with black icing, and use orange candy for the carrot nose.
  11. If desired, sprinkle some coconut flakes around the snowman to mimic snow.
