Spinach and Artichoke Wonton Cups: An Amazing Ultimate Recipe

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped (or 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed and drained)
  • 1 cup artichoke hearts, chopped (canned or frozen)
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing the muffin tin

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to get it ready for baking.
  2. Lightly grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or olive oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Gently press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, shaping it to form a cup. You can use two wrappers per cup for added sturdiness if desired.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, artichoke hearts, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  5. Spoon the spinach and artichoke mixture into each wonton cup, filling them generously.
  6. Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the wonton cups are golden and crispy.
  7. Remove the muffin tin from the oven and let the cups cool for a few minutes before carefully removing them.
  8. Transfer the wonton cups to a serving platter and garnish with additional Parmesan cheese or fresh herbs if desired.
