Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 mini sweet peppers, halved and seeds removed
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • ½ cup smoked salami, chopped
  • ½ cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling
  • Balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling on top)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crumbled bacon, chopped salami, shredded cheddar cheese, walnuts, chives, Dijon mustard, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and creamy.
  3. Take the halved mini sweet peppers and carefully stuff each half with the cream cheese mixture, pressing slightly to ensure they are filled to the top.
  4. Place the stuffed peppers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle a little olive oil over the peppers for added richness.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the filling is slightly golden.
  6. Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired for an extra touch of flavor. Arrange on a serving platter, and serve warm as a delicious appetizer!
