Ingredients
Scale
4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
½ cup teriyaki sauce
2 cups cooked white rice (or brown rice)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: steamed broccoli or other vegetables
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the salmon fillets with teriyaki sauce. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Prepare the rice according to package instructions. Set aside once cooked.
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
Place the marinated salmon fillets in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Pour any remaining teriyaki sauce over the salmon in the last minute of cooking to glaze it nicely.
If using, steam broccoli or other vegetables while the salmon cooks.
Spoon the cooked rice onto plates, creating a bed for the salmon.
Place a salmon fillet on top of the rice.
Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions on top of the salmon for added flavor and visual appeal.
Serve hot and savor every bite of your delicious meal!
