Toasted Hot Dog Roll-Ups
My grandkids and adult kids can’t get enough of these delightful treats, surpassing their love for regular hot dogs.
I personally adore them too; they make for a quick and satisfying lunch or dinner option.
Ingredients:
- Hot dog wieners
- Any type of cheese (while American cheese is our go-to, cheddar works just as well)
- White bread
Directions:
- Make a lengthwise slit in each hot dog and stuff with a strip of cheese.
- Place a hot dog diagonally on a slice of bread, roll it up to meet the other end, and secure with a toothpick.
- Arrange the roll-ups with the cheese side facing up on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 12 minutes or until they achieve a golden brown hue. Enjoy the gooey goodness!
