Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of softened butter
  • 250 grams of light brown sugar (approximately 1 1/4 cups)
  • 1 large egg, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 320 grams of all-purpose flour (about 2 1/2 cups)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
  • 5.3 oz of Nutella
  • 8 Kinder Bueno sticks
  • 5.3 oz hazelnut cream spread

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine softened butter and light brown sugar until smooth.
  2. Add the room temperature egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
  3. Gradually fold in the flour and baking soda until a dough forms.
  4. Incorporate the chocolate chips into the dough evenly.
  5. Line an 8″ cake tin with parchment paper. Reserve 1/3 of the dough and press the remaining dough into the bottom and halfway up the sides of the tin.
  6. Evenly spread Nutella over the dough, then arrange the Kinder Bueno sticks on top.
  7. Spread hazelnut cream spread over the Bueno sticks, ensuring full coverage.
  8. Flatten the reserved dough and place it on top of the hazelnut spread, sealing the edges and smoothing the surface. Optionally, sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top.
  9. Bake at 356°F (180°C) for approximately 25 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool completely in the tin before serving.
