Soft Coconut Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
- 2 tablespoons liquid milk
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and icing sugar together until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
- Add the desiccated coconut, plain flour, and baking powder to the bowl. Mix until the wet and dry ingredients are well combined.
- Pour in the liquid milk and mix again until you achieve a smooth dough.
- On a flat working surface, spread out the dough and use a rolling pin to smooth it to your desired thickness.
- Use a cookie cutter to cut the dough into equal-sized pieces and place them on a prepared baking tray.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden and well baked.
