Cajun Salmon and Shrimp Delight
Ingredients:
- 1 lb salmon fillet
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
- Generously season the salmon and shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook the salmon fillet for 5 minutes on each side, then set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- Melt butter in the skillet. SautΓ© onion and garlic until translucent.
- Pour in heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and simmer until thickened.
- Return seafood to the skillet, coat with sauce, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
