- 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar
- 2.25 teaspoons Active Dry Yeast
- 4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt

- 2/3 cup Baking Soda (for boiling)
- 1/4 cup Packed Light Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar (for topping)
- 1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter (melted)
- 4 ounces Cream Cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1/4 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, granulated sugar, and active dry yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add all-purpose flour and kosher salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5–7 minutes until smooth. Grease a bowl with cooking spray and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and divide into 8 pieces. Roll into ropes, shape into pretzels, and place on a baking sheet.
- Boil 10 cups of water with baking soda. Boil each pretzel for 30 seconds and return to the baking sheet.
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Brush each pretzel with melted butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, and bake for 12–15 minutes.
- Prepare the dipping sauce by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
