JalapeƱo Popper Cheese-Stuffed Crescent Bites are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that will impress your guests with their cheesy, spicy filling and flaky crescent dough.

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup jalapeƱos, diced (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeƱos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle.
  5. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling.
  6. Place the rolled crescent bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
