Philly Cheesesteak Sliders: An Amazing Ultimate Recipe

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 slices provolone cheese (or cheese of choice)
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: mayonnaise or mustard for spreading

Instructions

  1. Set the oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the sliders.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and green bell peppers. Sauté until they are softened and caramelized, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Add the thinly sliced beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour in the Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes.
  4. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  5. Spoon the beef and vegetable mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the buns. Top with provolone cheese slices.
  6. Place the top halves of the slider buns over the cheese.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are toasted.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Slice the sliders and serve warm.
