Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (for coating)
  • 2 pretzel sticks (for the antlers)
  • 2 small olives (for eyes)
  • 1 piece of red bell pepper (for the nose)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, feta cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper.
  2. Using a mixer or a wooden spoon, thoroughly blend the cheese mixture until it is smooth and creamy.
  3. Scoop the mixture into your hands and form it into a round shape resembling a ball.
  4. Wrap the cheeseball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to help it firm up.
  5. On a large plate, spread out the chopped pecans.
  6. Once chilled, remove the cheeseball from the wrap and roll it in the pecans, ensuring it is evenly coated.
  7. Place the cheeseball on a serving platter. Insert the pretzel sticks at the top for antlers.
  8. Dot the top of the cheeseball with olives for eyes and a piece of red bell pepper for the nose to finish decorating your reindeer.
  9. Place your festive cheeseball back in the fridge for a few minutes to set before serving.

Notes

  • For the best flavor, use fresh cream cheese and quality cheeses.
  • Customize your spices by adding cayenne pepper or smoked paprika for a kick or smokiness.
  • For a sweeter contrast, mix in some dried cranberries or a sprinkle of brown sugar.
  • Fresh herbs like chives or dill can elevate the flavor profile.
  • Store your Reindeer Cheeseball in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • To freeze, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and then foil; it can last up to three months. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
