- 1 pound large mushrooms (button or cremini)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: cooked sausage or bacon bits for added flavor
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth. Remove the stems and set them aside for the stuffing.
- Finely chop the mushroom stems and place them in a mixing bowl.
