Irresistible Air-Fried Sweet Chili Garlic Wings
Ingredients:
For the Wings:
- 2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cooking spray
For the Sweet Chili Garlic Sauce:
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce (optional, for added heat)
- Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
Directions:
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes. - Prepare the Wings:
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper. - Prepare the Air Fryer:
Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. - Cook the Wings:
Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching for even cooking.
Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown. Cook in batches if necessary. - Make the Sweet Chili Garlic Sauce:
While the wings cook, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sriracha sauce (if using) in a small saucepan.
Cook over medium heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until slightly thickened. - Coat the Wings:
Transfer cooked wings to a large mixing bowl.
Pour the sweet chili garlic sauce over the wings and toss until evenly coated. - Garnish and Serve:
Transfer coated wings to a serving platter.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish.
