Irresistible Air-Fried Sweet Chili Garlic Wings

Ingredients:

For the Wings:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooking spray

For the Sweet Chili Garlic Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce (optional, for added heat)
  • Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Wings:
    Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Prepare the Air Fryer:
    Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  4. Cook the Wings:
    Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching for even cooking.
    Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown. Cook in batches if necessary.
  5. Make the Sweet Chili Garlic Sauce:
    While the wings cook, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sriracha sauce (if using) in a small saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until slightly thickened.
  6. Coat the Wings:
    Transfer cooked wings to a large mixing bowl.
    Pour the sweet chili garlic sauce over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
  7. Garnish and Serve:
    Transfer coated wings to a serving platter.
    Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish.
    Serve hot and enjoy!
