Chicken Thighs and Potatoes Recipe
I cook almost every day, and one of my favorite dishes is chicken thighs with potatoes. Here’s the recipe for this delicious meal:
Ingredients:
- 5 chicken thighs
- 5 potatoes
- 2 carrots
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 onion
- 3 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1 bundle parsley
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon mustard
Method:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean and chop the potatoes, carrots, and onions into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic.
- In a large bowl, mix the honey, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and mustard.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl, ensuring they are well-coated with the marinade.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Sauté the garlic and onions until they are fragrant and golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken thighs and the marinade to the skillet, searing them on both sides until they are nicely browned.
- Arrange the potatoes and carrots in a baking dish. Place the chicken thighs on top of the vegetables and pour the remaining marinade over the dish.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes to let the chicken skin crisp up.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Enjoy your flavorful and hearty chicken thighs with potatoes!
